Yup.

I've given up at this point. We would not be _here_ in the process if we had sensible, reasonable, representatives. And because we do not, we cannot tell what idiocy they are going to get up to next.

I do not actually think that most of our MPs believe anything close to the truth of the situation. Which means that they may well drive us off a cliff because they think that someone else will stop us hitting the ground.
