It's astonishing. I can't think of the last event where we didn't know at this scale.

I can think of times we've all been wrong or times we've been uncertain, but this is something unique in my memory.

Yup.

I've given up at this point. We would not be _here_ in the process if we had sensible, reasonable, representatives. And because we do not, we cannot tell what idiocy they are going to get up to next.

I do not actually think that most of our MPs believe anything close to the truth of the situation. Which means that they may well drive us off a cliff because they think that someone else will stop us hitting the ground.
