On The Weather As It Relates to Rugby Training

The coaching group is currently debating whether we should cancel training tonight because of the weather. Or more accurately, the real conversation is about when we cancel training, sooner or later.

We're a bit discombobulated at the moment. One of the coach's dad has just died and the head coaches oldest has had a nasty injury. All following on from many of the other coaches having to isolate.

That's not helping the effficiency of the decision making process.

It sounds like it needs someone with the clarity to lay things out in a nice simple way, and make it obvious what the answer should be.

(Looking out at the snow that just went past, I'd vote for cancelling sooner, so that any parents that need to change plans can do so.)

How long are you going to give it before you wrest control of the group, cast your opponents into the abyss, and send out an email cancelling it?

Turns out about 20 minutes.

I don't like running things, or generally taking them over. But apparently many other people are really rubbish at doing them, and eventually my patience runs out, I wrest control of the group, cast my enemies into the abyss, and send the email someone else should have sent twenty minutes previously.
