On Ranger's Celebrations

I'm not surprised that Rangers are not cooperating with the Scottish government over celebrations of their championship. Given the Rangers Tax Case and it's aftermath and particualarly the Mulholland Affair I'm not sure I'd cooperate with the Scottish Government if I were a Ranger official.

You might if you wanted to keep the moral high ground.

Yeah, I think relations may have broken down quite a lot by now and people will have an eye to their own constituency.

That’s also true.

I think if I were a Rangers supporter I might come to the conclusion that the Scottish nationalist government were out to destroy my football club, my social institutions and my very identity as part of their political agenda.

Not sure there's much of a way back from that.
