1. Is there a smell that will immediately sicken you?
Not really, not that I recall. There are some smells that I don't like but I don't think there is anything that makes my stomach turn immediately.
2. When you want quiet, where do you go?
My whole life has been a quest for quiet. I'm an introvert who grew up in a large family, and now live with two extraverts. When my children leave home and I retire I shan't know what to do with all the silence.
3. Do you need/prefer total darkness when you sleep?
I don't and in fact some of the best sleep that I have is during the summer when I wake up at dawn and go back to sleep in the early morning light. My Lovely Wife does need to sleep in the dark.
4. What is your least favorite taste?
Of the things that people usually and normally put in their mouths? It's more a texture thing - I don't hugely like things like mashed potato. In terms of taste, my least favourite taste is sour beers. Waste of an opportunity to drink nice beer.
5. How heavily do you rely upon your sense of touch?
Not hugely, I'm a human being, so I'm mostly built around seeing and hearing.

Date: 2018-05-21 09:06 am (UTC)I think (not strongly, very much provisionally) that as a species many of our advantages are built around sight and hearing. These allow us to gather data and use our brain power to gain an advantage and also to pass on knowledge from individual to individual. Touch is important for tool building but I think I'd swap touch for sight, or hearing or the sixth sense of knowing where my body was in relation to itself.
