My relatives were all on-shore, based in the Nigg yard - that's where MB was working too (he wasn't off-shore).
I think my taste had changed - plus, as a kid, I was listening to a dodgy cassette copy taped off Radio 1, which was also live. The "definitive" version I downloaded seemed sterile in comparison.
