Mmmh, yes you'd have to scale up the maintenance teams by approximately double. More buses = more maintenance = more maintenance labour.
From looking at the Lothian buses annual report I am guessing maintenance teams are a relatively small part of the overall cost of running a bus route. But I’m guessing here.
Garaging cost likewise increase unless you run the buses 24 hours a day or park them up in bus stops overnight (which you could do because you don’t have a driver who wants to get home from where he parked his car).
