On Mining Out Minecraft

danieldwilliamI think I am Minecrafted out for the time being.
I've been playing Minecraft pretty solidly for about six months. I like the game very much. But I think I am done with it for a little while.
I have a Survival world and I'm pretty late game (gone to the End, come back, in my netherite armour). I like my survival world. I've got four well-developed villages including a monastic community made up entirely of librarians in honour of Hildegard of Bingen. There's a railway. Surrounding my core 4 villages are two zombiefied villages, an abandoned village persecuted by Pillagers and a couple a little further out.
I've been working on, well stuff, but with not a huge amount of focus. I have an unfinished redstone farming contraption, I've started building a Greek temple themed palace complex, I've started naming all the Librarians - until I ran out of name tags.
I even have the glitch that dumps you miles from home in the Nether

But I find I've not had any enthusiasm for the game recently. I've had a couple of weeks off what with one thing and another. Had a session last night where I started part of a project to deal with the impact of the Over the Rainbow Bug, The Yellow Brick Road project - a long, long road between my nether hub and the place I get dumped in when the glitch fires. Item one - Mining out a bastion, replacing it with a more visible yellow stone tower and I find I was meh.
So I think I'm going to duck out for a while.
Netflix seem to have a bunch of interesting films on. I watched Moneyball a few night ago which I enjoyed and I'm watching the film of Dad's Army in instalments. It is fine, mostly I am watching it for the cameos by ever British actor ever and Catherine Zeta Jones in 1940's Chanel suits. Or a return to Stellaris.
