I find it all too easy to believe that they would allow half a million elderly and infirm British citizens to die to protect "the economy" and be entirely fine with that as an outcome.
I am not sure that I trust myself enough when assessing the Conservative Party to tell if this tendency to believe the worst of them is grouned in reality or paranoia.
