My wife's parents were Lithuania. They left Lithuania and Germany after the war and met, IIRC, in Derby as part of the Lith immigrant / refugee community.
I think they used to speak Lithuania and German at home when MLW was a young child.
So we've picked up a Lithuania style Christmas Eve dinner of fish and salad and vodka.
