Libyan No Fly Zone

danieldwilliamI have been asked by AVAAZ to sign a petition to the UN Secretary General, calling for a no-fly zone in Libya.
I’m conflicted.
On the one hand bombing your own people when they politely ask you to stand down is bad.
One the other hand I think that creating a no-fly zone means either putting our own pilots at risk of death or perpetrating such a massive bombing campaign of our own that it would make the rather feeble efforts to date of the Libyan air forces seem benign.
