On My Hair

I have been growing my hair for The Play What I Am In.

It is now the longest it has been since I was a student. Long to the point of being irritating.

I am also not shaving for the run of the play.

These measures are taken in an attempt to portray a disreputable character.

The show closes on a Saturday. On Sunday I am going to find myself a barber and have a haircut and a shave.

The Boy tried to grow his hair out a while back. He only lasted about a month before he caved in and had it chopped short again. I think my comment that it looked thin on top compared to how bushy it was at the back and sides may have been the deciding factor...

True – but I never had delusions of being a rock star when I was a kid so looking like I *still* harbour delusions of being one seems a bit daft.
