I expect your take on this would be interesting.
My wife has a very interesting last name. It might even be unique in that it is an Anglicisation of a not common Lithuanian name.
So whilst I didn't take her name when we married I did adopt it as a nom de guerre and our son has a Spanish style last name with both of ours.
