I'm not sure how well doing justice to a character in crippling agony works within the paradigm of the genre. We definitely need more disabled characters on screen who aren't defined by their disability though so we shall see. Certainly Rupert Everett is more likely to pull it off than several of the cast, I just hope he gets the scripts too.

I was gutted when Capaldi left to do Doctor Who and would rather he'd stayed. But there aren't many places I'd dare admit that ;)
